Future Dreaming – Trips We Are Gonna Book as Soon as This Is All Over
Escapism in the time of coronavirus, these are the destinations for future dreaming that we will be visiting once this dystopian bubble has finally burst.

Adventuring in Peru and the Galápagos Islands
Eyes, ears, mind all wide open, this trip allows you to check two huge items off your bucket list – Machu Picchu and the Galápagos Islands. Expect a tour of Cusco’s colonial sites, an excursion to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”, the world famous Machu Picchu and the untouched Galápagos Islands. Snorkel with penguins and sharks, go on a volcanic hike and observe the famed giant tortoises. Rare, precious and beautiful, you definitely will not be bored.

South Africa, from Cape Town to Johannesburg
Sunny South Africa, this colorful country is a riotous place if large once livin’ large is permitted. We are hitting up Cape Town, a breathtaking city of creativity, surprises and new beginnings, and travel to Johannesburg, stopping along the way to explore local markets, cook on the beach and bike around the countryside. Victoria Falls, Wineland and “Big Five” game drives at the Sabi Sand Game Reserve are all included.

Touring Morocco’s major cities
Morocco is a country of contrasts. In touring Fez, Marrakech and Casablanca, you will get to experience everything from dynamic natural landscapes to heady cities brimming with ancient monuments and souks – complete with musicians, fire eaters, storytellers and snake charmers. If we were not in lockdown, we would book a return ticket pronto.

Kilimanjaro and Tanzanian Wildlife
If any trip could help us break free from this self-isolation echo-chamber, it is a sweep through the African Wildlife. You will find historic coffee lodges, cliff-edge campsites and safari game drives. Watching the sunset and spotting the Big Five, this itinerary brings the best of East Africa together.

Jordan
Often referred to as The Lost City, Petra has long been one of our favorite places to visit. Explore the city’s famed red sandstone architecture, relax at the Dead Sea and take a famously light swim. We will be hiring a car (freedom of travel, yippee) and visiting the impressive collection of ancient ruins.

Tour Japan, from Tokyo to Osaka
We have always had a fascination with Japan. Carrying ancient traditions and a remarkably modern feel, Japan is a country that eludes expectations. A feast for the senses, this itinerary takes you from futuristic metropoles to the foothills of great mountains via the country’s best food experiences. Dive into the cultural mishmash and ditch the guidebook.

A foodie tour through Spain and Portugal
Any food and wine vacation is good by us – especially in Spain and Portugal. A food-lover’s heaven, start out in Spain and feast on local tapas and well chosen wines. After dinner, take a tapas walk to a night bar with live music and lose yourself in the Spanish rhythms. Then, it is time to cross the border to Portugal and tread away from the beaten track and enjoy pasteis de natas. After scoffing tins of sardines and downing passionfruit ponchas, venture some of Portugal’s often overlooked, but no less lovely, towns and cities. We are salivating.
