Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, international fashion houses are still rolling out masterfully concepts and mood-enhancing imagery on the fall/winter 2020 campaign trail.
We made a list of our favorites, sure to satisfy your sartorial cravings. Be inspired.
Jennifer Lopez, her 12-year old twins, Emme and Max Muñiz and the superstar’s own mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, star in Coach’ latest campaign. A joyful family celebration, the images, lensed by Ryan McFinley showcase the Lopez clan posing in a number of picturesque family gatherings dressed in off-beat charm. Titled “Coach Family”, the nostalgic captures are lighthearted and express that the definition of family is all-inclusive.
A very personal collection of artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s campaign expresses contemporary freedom and the pure pleasure of fashion that is open to all manner of audacity. Inviting twenty personalities to his photography studio, a creative laboratory on the Quai Voltaire in Paris, Ghesquière, captured a mosaic of beloved models, astonishing artists and athletes, among Léa Seydoux and Stacy Martin.
Set against a rocky outdoor terrain, Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci taps into his penchant for freedom and escapism this season in Burberry’s latest campaign. “Set in an ambiguous location – you could be anywhere – like in a dream you have the freedom to make your journey what you want,” he says. An interplay between classics and modern, Tisci worked alongside photographer Danko Steiner to shoot a cast of longtime collaborators and new faces including models Mariacarla Boscono, Sora Choi and Maty Fall Diba.
Bottega Veneta took a trip to the snow for their latest campaign. A showcase of unequivocal high fashion frames against dark, snow-blanketed backdrop, photographer Tyrone Lebon captured models Quinn Mora, Abbey Lee, Mona Tougaard, Sascha Uhlemann, and Tobias Dionsi. The slew of monochromatic moments certainly deserve a double-take.
A collage-constructed campaign titled “Close”, Miu Miu artfully displayed its broader world of high fashion in a melting pot of creatives. A varied mix of artistic partners, including Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss and Katie Grand, the Italian label’s “Close” campaign proves the uplifting power of collaboration, even if it is from afar.
Shot on the shores of Long Island’s North Fork but photographer Yelena Yemchuck, Ulla Johnson’s campaign captures a nomadic spirit in a dreamy setting. Styled by April Hughes, the whimsical images are complete with dreamy ruffled frocks, languid leather separates and easy knitwear.
